Ermagherd. I literally have no idea, because my studies are keeping me so damn busy that I literally do this every time I come home:
But, uh, I still plan on attending local conventions, so I’ll be re-wearing lots of costumes that I’m really proud of/haven’t worn much/easy to wear, like my Twilight Princess Zelda/Mami from Madoka/LSP.
I do still want to make Skyward Sword Zelda… Whatever the case, my next costume will probably be really simple and cheap because HELLO NO MONEY AS I AM A STUDENT AGAIN 8’D
Happy 2013, everybody!
2012 was a full-on punch to the groin full of surprises! Here’s a bit of news from me. I promise to keep updating my VLog monthly! I PROMISE.
Please excuse my awful face and my terrible, terrible Australian accent.
I’ve only done five so far, because I’m horrible at getting my act together, but I’ve made promises to make more, and those will (eventually) be met, and I’ll update this list as I go.
“Let’s see how your champion fares against my puppets…”
Happy belated birthday to Shigeru Miyamoto! Thank you for making our lives more awesome with your epic mind!
Ganondorf and Zant made their own costumes. Zelda and Link costumes handmade by individual cosplayers with credits to: Resin casting help: *kurai-kishi Sword carving help: *K-tetsu Hylian shield help (not pictured): *darcywilliam
The armour is made from Wonderflex and craft foam with detailing done in epoxy, the swords out of a single block of mdf, all jewelry and gems were resin cast. The details on my dress were a mixture of hand-painting and embroidery overlay on silk dupion, and the front tabard was hand gradient-dyed and embroidered with cotton sateen applique.
Preview photos of our Madman National Cosplay Championship winning costumes from this weekend. A larger, more intricate shoot to come (and possibly a photobook!).
